I am a portrait artist born and raised in Preston, Lancashire.  Best known for my acrylic on canvas paintings, you may have seen me and my work on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2014 and 2016.

I enjoy capturing character and personality in my work.  I have always felt the essence of a person is found in the eyes, so I like to start there.

PORTRAIT PAINTING

I often paint on to a stark white canvas. I like to leave a crisp background surrounding my dabbed and textured painting, it’s a contrasting feel I enjoy.
